A little taste for the fans of the French fashion house Lanvin, a symbol of elegance for 120 years, and the fast fashion Swedish chain H&M, who will be presenting the much-awaited Lanvin for H&M collection is just a few weeks. Sophisticated pieces at affordable prices that are already on everyone's wish list, despite the fact that nobody has seen the collection.

The advertising campaign that Vogue.it is revealing in a preview glimpse, was shot by the photographer David Sims. The featured women are three models and an actress: Natasha Poly, Tatiana Cotliar, Hannelore Knuts and Jane Schmitt, who appears in the online video that precedes the launch of the capsule collection and has already piqued the curiosity of fashion followers around the world.

The campaign was shot in Paris in late July and will be distributed around mid-November to the media, while the collection designed by Alber Elbaz will be in H&M stores on the 23rd.

Filipino Pride: Wynn Wynn Ong featured in WWD

Another Filipino has landed on the pages of international fashion bible, Women's Wear Daily or WWD, and her design is featured on the cover in last monday's issue. How fab is that.

The cover featured her purse, which is made from nautilus shell. Inside the magazine, a large cuff of bejeweled corals and a photo of Ong was placed, naming her one of the ACCESSORIES DESIGNERS TO WATCH.

Both pieces came from her Ages Collection, launched November 2009, collection of 40 pieces inspired by mythic gods and serpent-like creatures.

knowing me whenever i see something i really really like, i see to it that i wear it everyday. Like my white watch for 2009. Come new year's of 2010 i finally realized that for the past year, i had 3 white wristwatches. i must really like it. for 2010 i will be having my list and i won't have to check it twice as i have already worn it tirelessly.

ever since college, after watching the first season of one tree hill, i've been looking for the just right motorcycle jacket for this tropical weather.

For more than 5 years, i have amassed one navy blue bomber jacket, one also in white

Welcome to the town and call on the matadors! Karl Lagerfeld, with all his grandeur and fierceness, went to Argentina to shoot the spring summer ad campaign of Chanel. Since their fall ads (below) made me feel bored and tired the-last-minutes-of-Sylvia-Plath way.

The new ad campaign is fresh and very sunny despite all the usual Chanel colors of black and white that were used; like seating by the white tables watching polo matches just before you hook up with winning team. or gardener, which ever you prefer. Photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, models Baptiste Giabiconi, Claudia Schiffer, and Freja Beha Erichse worked it and they worked it good looking like proper, well-mannered people simmering and ready to break out and go crazy when the night falls.

Kelly Cutrone: The Head Bitch In Charge Has a Book and a TV Show on the Way

For those people my age who grew up with the bubblegum pop version of MTV in gradeschool and still hasn't gotten over frying their brains out to ashes til college (you know channel surfing to death and stopping at My Super Sweet 16 and Laguna Beach,) AND THEN still tries to catch an episode here and there of Laguna Beach Star Lauren Conrad's spin-off reality show The Hills, you definitely know who Kelly Cutrone is.

For those who really grew up, Cutrone is the founder of fashion pr and production company People's Revolution where one of the Hills' character, Whitney Port interned for during her stint at the Hills. Conrad followed after her internship the Teen Vogue. Cutrone became a favorite in the show with her wise-ass remarks and ultimate plays of power. Sample?

"I told her I'm going to sue the f*ck out of your family if you don't take it down immediately and your college tuition is going to seem like a pittance after you face my wrath." Cutrone The Cut she didn't appreciate an intern blogging about her.

Also here's a hilarious situation on the Hills from also from the The Cut:

So Stephanie goes to interview with Kelly; she's nervous, as she has to go up to Kelly's attic lair to face her. Steph hands Kelly a résumé inside an envelope. Kelly sees that Steph's "Objective" is to become a handbag designer. "So you basically want to use me and my clients to leave here and start your own thing?" So now, if you're still not amused, I'm just going to focus on my own pleasure and go on to talk about how exciting this was that come February there will be a new book penned by Cutrone called If You Have to Cry, Go Outside...And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You and a reality show on Bravo titled, Kell On Earth.

Finally getting her very own reality show, Kell On Earth, focuses on Cutrone and People's Revolution.

According to Bravo, the show is a "no-holds-barred look into the life of one of America's most legitimate taste-makers as she balances running her wildly successful PR company, People's Revolution, juggling fashion weeks in New York and London, with being a single mother and one of New York's most notable women about town."

Kell on Earth will be shown on February 1 at Bravo TV.

The book, published by Harper Collins, is about Cutrone sharing how did she come about being the HBIC.

According to Harper Collins, "Shocking, edgy, witty and surprisingly soulful, Kelly shares her hard-earned wisdom to empower and inspire a new generation of aspiring professionals and those simply wishing to reinvent themselves."

The book will be out on February 2.

Now, sort-of grown-ups can have an excuse of why they have dolls in their rooms with the Lady Gaga barbie dolls.

Made and styled by Veik, a 29-year-old from Beijing, these dolls are clothed with very similar outfits Lady Gaga has worn before. You know, the ones that made you stop on your tracks because of its outright weirdness. He has replicated the ode to Kermit the frog outfit, the outfit worn at the artist's Bad Romance music video, and even the Alexander McQueen Alien shoes!

Instead of saying that I have been designing dolls, I've been playing with dolls since I was maybe 10 years old. I think of myself as more of a player than a designer. I have taken some of my experiences playing with dolls, like doing their makeup or hair, and now take photos of them and share my experiences online through Flickr.

this is the best i've seen so far. unlike some celebritu doing "normal things" (ehem, d&g.) the movement of the clothes are exhibited beautifully and you could hardly see the model's face, which, of course, takes the focus to the pretty clothes Alber Elbaz wants you to do. Plus, it's funny because it looks like the chandelier has taken a life of its on and is ready to smash Bochert's head. Love.

The sex and the city money-making machine hasn't had enough yet. well, mainly that's because it's minions can't enough ofit either. When the cover (photo above) popped up on the internets, i thought, "surely, someone loves their LV's and Stephen Sprouse." But I have to say, it's good cover. And I want to have it. :d

According to pop crunch, The Carrie Diairies, still penned by SATC author Candace Bushnell (photo above), is all about Carrie Bradshaw as a teenager, before she met Miranda, Charlotte, Samantha, Stanford, Mr Big, Aidan and her Russian lover. The book, released by HarperCollins, is set during Bradshaw's teenage years. It also appears that Carrie was a high school standout.

“Carrie in high school did not follow the crowd – she led it,” the publisher said in statement in September. “It was there that she began observing and commenting on the social scene.”

The book reveals Carrie’s first love, her relationship with her mother, and explores how the beloved fashionista discovered her love of writing.

A young adult book, hmmm. About a ring leader? Dubious. I'm curious to see if she'll have friends the ones i mentioned above because that would be difficult because there was no mention of them whatsoever in the tv series. The only glimpse of high school i got from the HBO TV show was David Duchovny's character Jeremy, and he was slightly crazy. If she led the fashion crowd, wouldn't she be the leader of the It Girls? Which is quite questionable because Carrie was never depicted as the mainstream It Girl. She was more in the sidelines, like the girl in other's secret inspiration board. Secret because she's not that popular. She's at every party, she's fun and quirky but never a Plastic (yes, that's a Mean Girl reference.)

Is she going to look like this? :D

The first volume of The Carrie Diaries is scheduled for release April 27, 2010, just a month before the theaterical release of Sex And The City 2.

I smell a TV show. But who will play her? surely no one could replace Sarah Jessica Parker, even if it's a teenage version of herself.

2 suede boots. one brown (from chinkee) and one black (ordered at power retail.) I was sworn against boots a few years back but since the climate is getting crazier and crazier, i realized, why the hell not.

1 brown suede ankle boot which, i love love love (from sassy spot.) it look great with my skirts.

1 forever 21 gladiator sandals (from power retail.) this i wear anywhere, anytime. so comfy. :D

1 studded sandals (from guiltyy pleasure.) i just got this today and i'm so happy.

1 camel strappy sandals with wooden heels. I bought this because i realized my heel collection is getting too severe. I need this to soften things up.

and a pending thigh-high boot from power retail again. hehehehe. yes, i'm crazy.

While I'm still waiting with bated breath for H&M to arrive here instead of trying to order in the States from another third party, let's salivate on Jimmy Choo's collection for H&M. I have to say, the pieces are every 20's girl's wet dream. Joking. Not. :D

I particularly love the texture and the colors, which is perfect for the cold weather here. Look rock yet protective. It goes without saying that the silhouette is very relevant. The blings are gorgeous and studs are still in perfect motion this fall.

I'm, just hoping there are more shoes. I know, I know, but still. it's Jimmy Choo without the big money. :D

The men's collection are classic, I must say. The gray's are the perfect shade and the black pants are to die for.

As said in WWD, the collection of 28 clutches and evening cases are as elaborate as the brand’s dresses, with such details as beading, pleating and corsetry. i've finally gotten over for my hunt of exposed gold zippers. now i have tights and fitted high-waist skirt from Vanessa Ang during the Rockwell Urban Bazaar and high-waist shorts from Jewels in Greenhills. Yes, they are all in black because i have this on-going love affair with the combination of black and gold, which makes dressing up in the morning easy.

Rodarte's Kate and Laura Mulleavy will be showcasing their amazingly out there designs (for a much cheaper price!) for the Go! Collection of target. Having been awarded by the CFDA (as Womenswear Designer of the Year for 2009) and lauded by many - from stars to fashionphiles, it could not hold my excitement.

The collectiom is said to be, as always with the Rodarte collection, feminine and contemporary as seen in the mix of patterns and textures. Prices are said to go from $ 10.00 to $ 80.00. I could finally afford a Rodarte piece! Woohooo!

Overseas orders are possible through power retail, my go to site for international brands. Love!

Designs will be out on December 20 until February 6 2010.

i could not believe the throngs of people who came out of the offices to give their respects to the former president. the view from our building when cory's remains passed by on its way to manila cathedral. an officemate even told me the cojuangco's walked at ayala ave., despite the scorching heat to thank the people. yellow confetti are very much in action. people clapped and sang as the casket passed. this is a rare scene at ayala ave., especially after all the rallies that where held here.

Femme for DKNY Jeans is reminiscent of Duff's style a few years ago (maybe influenced by ex Joel Madden?) with its face-on black tone with charmed chains at the waist. And as usual, the presence of gleaming tights are in order.

The ad was shot by The Sartorialist, Scott Schuman, and set in graffiti-laden New York City, the inspiration of Duff's line.

It all started with the burberry prorsum dress that made round the whole of fall 2008 (shown below as worn by kate bostworth) feathery (or plumage) frocks are dreamy and a bit distracting if i may say. i think i would stick to feathered accessories for daily rounds. for evening, however, it's nice to go a little further than your usual fashion policies, like this feathered gray dress (on polyvore above) which catches just enough attention and fashion nods because of its muted color.

a great way to toughen it up is also, with another upcoming trend, the multi-buckled booties (here in balmain.) as i know a little rock in the way you roll goes a long way.

It's been a long term search and since feathers are the in-thing nowadays, it's great. Besides, i think, this is the only feather i could wear. I think a feathered bag or shoes is just too much for me.

i was walking through Tiendesitas when i saw a striped dress at Hip Stop that looks almost exactly like what Taylor Momsen was wearing during the shoot of the third season of gossip girl.

since i'm leaning toward loose tank top/ tunics right now. i bought it. it very much looks like i'm in referree mode. lol. i'm going to work so i paired it with blank straight cut pants and simple thong ankle strapped sandals . brought a big snakeskin bag for all my stuff for tonight's swimming party. i'll just remove the pants and pair them with distressed shorts and off i go.

i was so happy to find the much-coveted clear shoe boxes at Tiendesitas yesterday. I've seen sites selling them for 80 pesos and saw them at this random stall at the tiangge area for 50 pesos (45 if you buy ten, and 40 if you buy 20 pieces.) I was hesitant at first when i found out that you have to make the box yourself but it's easy (although it takes a lot of your time.) I also tested it by smashing the boxes with each other. It didn't budge. So, I bought 20 pieces. Will post the finished product tomorrow. :D

Thank you Shoe Gallery for designing lovable shoes at the cheapest price (as seen below, i bought that for 300.) If it weren't for your shoes, I wouldn't have seen the clear shoe boxes if it weren't for your lovable thong sandals.

Ever since the historic arrival of Jennifer Aniston at an event wearing a metallic silver Prada dress that made jaws dropped, the new metallic has risen again.

The modern metallic is faded, crinkly, understated and soft. Nay to the 80's full-on sequence which makes you look bigger than you are and feels like a hundred thousand sequins sinking into your skin (which probably what really happened before.) For Stella McCartney's Resort 2010, she focused on breezy outfits (as she always did) that can make you feel like your walking on a field flowers in hand, willing to run. I love the bright colors she used, especially in this look. With the blue lantern skirt and a loose top, that can go from work to play with the use of a boyfriend blazer, it looks cute without being too cute with is the disease of this high-waisted skirt trend you see all over. With the addition of baubles, which of course have to be a little sophisticated (see burberry and lanvin's fall necklaces.) Pair with strappy shoes and you're good to go.

I find 3.1 Phillip Lim's Resort Collection especially charming as it evokes the nonchalant glamour i wish to present. The rolled up skirts, wrap-around belts and graphic tees are a fascinating twist. The collection is chill enough for a resort collection but i consider the pieces classic. It's the young elegance.

for phi's collection of resort 2010, they put the glam rock in heat. never mind the bright colours to compliment sunshine. Phi made a 360 turn and went for hard-edged looks. with the plums, black, and dark blues of the collection. Which is actually in favor to us, people from the other side of the world since it's rainy here.Phi's resort collection fully matches our mood. :D

now that a punch of tribal is still in, carry it on to the rainy season with a bit of rock and roll. add a boyfriend blazer, statement shoes and the colors black and gray to get the effect. neutral and dark tribal prints is also a plus although the colorful ones is a great contrast to the hard-edged look we're going for.

for day, add more neutrals to the look, like the white studded platform sandals and pile on the bronzer to create the glowing look you get when you're at the beach. for night, accentuate the tribal trend with studs, black, and maybe a dark bomber jacket and layer on the liner to create a kohl eye.

rain or cold weather should not stop us from us fashion. a snuggly loose knitted sweater can take you from day to night, because, well, i know that if you go home after work to dress up, you will just lay on your bed, sip hot chocolate, watch crap tv and stay there for over. With this light colored sweater, you could go to your own special place and hug yourself instead. It's too comfortable not to wear in a weather like this. Plus, the don't-mess-with-me makeup can intimidate people. :D

Pair it with dark fitted trousers and put on some accessories. For night time, tie a wide belt, go for funkier shoes, and add more jewelry.
